A new brand which reflects the society's varied role across the city.
Approach
Wakefield Civic Society plays a vital role in preserving the city’s heritage and also influencing its future. With a full programme of events throughout the year including; talks, excursions, guided walks and social events, it was important that we reflected the society’s diverse offering in the branding.
The shield logo hints at tradition, whereas the illustration style is clean and contemporary, ensuring that logo stands out – especially in digital formats. A variety of architecture and built environments feature within the logo, which display the city’s unique landmarks and showcase the geographical area the society covers.
